Chai Spices – 2 tbsp cinnamon – 2 tsp nutmeg – 2 tsp ginger – 1 tsp all spices or mixed spices – 1 teaspoon cardamon - 1 tsp cloves Chai Latte – 1 cup water – 50 g loose-leaf black tea or tea bags – 1 cup almond milk – 2 tbsp maple syrup Topping - cinnamon

Try to prepare homemade chai spices! They are super easy and the smell is just out of this world! In a small mixing bowl add combined all of the spices and mix until combined. Transfer to an airtight container and mason jar. Make the chai spices in a bigger batch! You will save time next time you will be preparing this drink or you can use it for baking as well.

In a small saucepan heat up hot water and 1 tbsp of chai spices. Add the loose-leaf tea and steep for 10 minutes. If using loose-leaf tea strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Stir in the maple syrup and keep hot until you froth your milk. Heat and froth the milk using your coffee machine or use an immersion blender to froth.
Pour 3/4 cup of warm chai tea in the mug and top with warmed milk.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
